Stretching Out

Before doing any exercises, it is always a good idea to do some stretching. This helps you so you don’t tear any muscles or pull anything.  A good way to start is to reach down and try touching your toes without bending your legs at the knee.  This becomes easier over time.  The next one is the forward lunge where you take a step forward, leaving your back heal on the ground to give your calves a good stretch.  The other is to stretch your legs to the side so you stretch out your upper thighs and leg muscles.

Dance with Zumba

Get fit doing the dance with Zumba. Check your local area for a Zumba class or you can buy the video game at a local retailer. It’s a great way to get the ball rolling and get yourself into better shape. It only takes 30 minutes a day to do and you will leave yourself feeling great in no time!

Think about it. You can learn some really hot latin dancing and get a great work out at the same time. For the people that don’t believe, trust us, it works. I even bet a few of you would love to tell us about your experience at a local Zumba class.
